Anand Prasad is a corporate/commercial lawyer with more than 3 decades of experience representing both domestic and international clients on a variety of legal and commercial issues within and outside India.
Anand along with former colleagues from Trilegal, established AP & Partners with the objective of providing high quality, focused advice, and advocacy for complex and challenging situations.
Anand specializes in advising boards and senior management of companies on dealing with difficult corporate, commercial, governance and compliance situations. He also provides advisory and structuring support to businesses on investment, M&A and financing transactions. He has a good understanding of evolving government policy and has advised clients on cross-border transactions, establishing joint ventures, trading and e-commerce, entry strategies, investment structures, competition law and employment issues.
In addition, Anand represents clients in arbitrations and in various courts and tribunals in matters pertaining to high value disputes which arise in relation to cross-border investments, bankruptcy, regulatory issues and corporate fraud and corruption situations.
Anand has been cited in independent legal directories such as the IBLJ – A List 2023 (List of India’s Top Lawyers), Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners as a market leader for corporate and commercial laws in India for well over a decade.

Dushyant Kumar is a partner in our corporate practice group.
Before joining AP & Partners, Dushyant served as legal counsel at the International Finance Corporation, a member of the World Bank Group.
During his tenure, he oversaw numerous equity and structured equity investments, as well as advisory projects across India and several countries in the South Asian and Southeast Asian regions.
Dushyant has extensive experience in providing transactional and advisory services to a diverse clientele, including both domestic and international clients, across various sectors such as corporate, mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital, among others.

Moksha Bhat has a broad corporate law practice, focusing on in-bound and out-bound M&A transactions, joint ventures, strategic and financial investments, and private capital investments.

N.L. Ganapathi is a partner in our dispute resolution practice and has over 3 decades of experience in commercial litigation and arbitration. Additionally, he is also an Advocate-on-Record in the Supreme Court of India.
Ganapathi presently serves on the litigation/arbitration panel of several Central Public Sector Enterprises such as Gail (India) Limited, Engineers India Limited, Gail Gas Limited, and Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited.
Previously, Ganapathi has worked at the office of the Attorney General for India, Mr. G. Ramaswamy.
Ganapathi regularly represents private and public sector clients before the Supreme Court of India as well as various High Courts and tribunals.

Romit is a partner in the corporate and regulatory practice of AP & Partners. He focusses on domestic and cross border M&A, restructuring and structured finance transactions.
He also has extensive experience in acquisition of distressed assets through the insolvency regime in India.
Romit regularly advises promoters of high growth companies in technology, B2C and fintech sectors. He plays a key role in advising promoters on structuring and negotiating the rights of the investors in different stages of fund raise and on corporate governance issues.
